I'm glad you and I could get out there and photograph it, such a cool spot with so much history.

And if you're anywhere near this thing or downwind wear a mask or something you do NOT want to be breathing this in.

It makes me so sad to see this beautiful piece of history go up in smoke, right as it finally felt like concrete redevelopment and preservation plans were materializing. My thoughts are with the STLFD this morning as they fight to keep this contained.

Massive five alarm fire in the early hours of the morning, the STLFD called in the calvary and even still I can hear more fire trucks heading there.
