It was RFP’d for years before covid. Even hired a designer to create a conceptual drawing and offered more benefits to a responsive bidder. Not even a nibble.

Benefits outweigh the cost of converting a surface parking lot into a more productive use. And yeah a playground can be moved. We are 8,000 dwellings behind. We need housing. The government has tried to dispose of these triangle lots and failed.
