The fact there are so many folks prematurely mourning Katie Wilson’s candidacy tells me there’s a lot of people excited about her who don’t often vote in Seattle. How else can you explain people thinking she’s cooked when ballots usually break progressive and take a week to fully tally?

People counting out Katie Wilson tonight need to know there was a line to deposit your ballot at the Broadway drop-off that stretched from E Howell to E Olive. I have consistently dropped off on voting day for the last 8 years, and I've never observed this occurrence before.

Switching to 24hr time format on all my devices has made me feel so outside of my normal sense of time.
It's like, Hmm, it's 13:49 - what should I have done by now? I have no preconceptions of 13:49, I guess I'll continue to drink coffee on the couch because that's what I want to do.
