It's officially winter, now that the pressure sensors in my car tires have gone into hibernation.
For the last year or two, they straight up stop working in cold weather, only to resume in warmer weather or a sheltered parking garage.

Had a fun time seeing Zootopia 2 yesterday with the @mainefurs.bsky.social meet hosted by @novarlynx.bsky.social . He went the extra mile to reserve a section so we could all sit together.
Great movie. Great writing. Great balance of comedic bits.

The house has been filled with a fowl smell the last week or so.
@benny-g.bsky.social has been cooking (baking? roasting?) turkeys as practice for Thanksgiving with his family.
I'm not sure why.
Deep-frying is a thing and our backyard is large enough for an acceptable blast radius.

Regarding the fluid situation at the GoldenHorn furry convention, involving non-furs (assault, theft, and tear gas/fire extinguisher attacks on rooms), the Wikifur article will not be updated until the situation is stabilized by local law enforcement personnel and all attending furs are safe.
