AMEN!
If this year was about getting off US tech, 2026 is the year to reassess the digital revolution — what works, what doesn’t; what to keep, and what to reject.

I’ve only just started to consider what needs to change about how I use digital technology, but I’m excited to learn more next year.
We need to reassess our relationship to digital tech
Getting off US tech led me to a wider questioning of digital convenience

Good luck to Mayor Mamdani, he’s got a great chance to reimagine one of the most ‘important’ cities in the world.

People who currently support the Labour Party are majorly over egging the ‘achievements’ given the majority they came into power with.

Even the victories on employment and renters rights don’t help soften the image of Starmer’s party that could easily be Cameron’s tories.

Aiding and apologising for genocide is back on the world stage in a good way?

This Labour government has a historical majority and it has used it to push right-wing agendas and aid Farage in becoming increasingly popular.
Let's start 2026 with some positivity folks. Please?!
We are back on the world stage in a good way which is down to Starmer. Green energy is moving in the right direction and workers rights have been boosted. NHS waiting lists are down and our young people can benefit from Erasmus again.

The whole article is entirely pointless, I wonder what the guardian was trying to achieve other than to remind us that pretty much every area of labour is idealess.
“The idea that squeezing a tiny elite of billionaires will pay for everything is fantasy and we do need to expose that.”

Good job no one’s ever actually said that - including me.

So why is Labour again repeatedly lying to avoid taxing the super-rich?

Q: China is doing naval exercises to encircle Taiwan

TRUMP: I have a great relationship with President Xi and I don't believe he's gonna be doing it

Q: Does it worry you?

TRUMP: No. Nothing worries me.

There’s a lot of information around transfers that i’ve gathered in this article in both positions and the actual targets … Doesn’t mean it will necessarily happen but conversations are engaged!

I’ve found #LFC's December fascinating - not because of results, but because of what they’ve had to give up tactically to get them.

This piece looks at how January recruitment, already being planned (and the names linked) could give them room to breathe again.
