"OL is a weakness"

!!!!!!
December 2, 2025 at 8:40 PM
he was alone on top of the World Serious mountain -- mvp!
December 2, 2025 at 8:32 PM
if they'd kicked the extra point with 3 mins to go, the defense would have held. they could have marched down the field and tied.
WIN IN OT!
it was possible. it was . . .
December 2, 2025 at 8:31 PM
useful comparison
December 2, 2025 at 7:02 PM
looks like he's got a tough path
December 2, 2025 at 6:40 PM
largely perhaps, but not entirely, and as Foley notes, possibly the stat that keeps him out, which would make it crucial
December 2, 2025 at 6:35 PM
ouch--he's gonna get dinged, isn't he?

thanks

"Every QB has flaws. Most can't be a stud in 2 Super Bowls"

excellent point
December 2, 2025 at 6:12 PM
so the Birds got the value right--2d round?
but then you have to be prepared to address the limitations
December 2, 2025 at 6:10 PM
absolutely a fair point

I'd love to waterboard Scot Loeffler, qb coach, to learn what he has to say. he also coached Brady (a long time ago)
December 2, 2025 at 6:06 PM
thanks for this
at 79, never had the shingles vax. I should, hunh
December 2, 2025 at 6:02 PM
delay of game coming right up
December 2, 2025 at 5:57 PM
ok. but you didn't answer the question. it's always worrisome when someone doesn't answer the question.
if you want to compare his # of wins to others from his era, you can do that too
Also, I'd love to see him in the Hall
December 2, 2025 at 5:56 PM
fair enough. he makes a basic point about Jalen that is worth keeping in mind. I hadn't realized the draft scoting report was so clear. that's all.
December 2, 2025 at 5:53 PM
where would his nunmber of wins rank him among starters? he seems a little shy on Ws.
December 2, 2025 at 5:40 PM
he noted correctly that the scouting report when Hurts came out identified shortcomings that are now routinely cited as Hurts's weaknesses.
that's the point. Jalen plays like the guy they drafted.
December 2, 2025 at 5:33 PM
perhaps true about Marcus. did you read the column?

the message not the messenger
December 2, 2025 at 5:30 PM
Jalen was a second-round pick with known shortcomings. They remain, but he's now a super bowl MVP. How many teams would like to have his skills and character?
Maybe we'll find out
December 2, 2025 at 5:28 PM
dunno, but I fimly believe they MUST DO SOME THINGS.--plural

didn't see anyone commenting on Marcus Hayes's column yesterday.? Hayes notes that the flaws people now find in Hurts's performance are exactly the shortcomings noted in scouting reports when he was drafted

Jalen is Jalen
December 2, 2025 at 5:18 PM
did they block this play differently last year?
December 2, 2025 at 5:01 PM
give the ball to a star. that should work
December 2, 2025 at 4:44 PM
yeah, if only Goedert and Calc could give Saquon another foot of alleyway.
