Everyone please look at Gabe’s ridiculous leg configuration
Gabe is an extremely leggy brown dog reclining on a brown couch. His two front legs are out front, parallel, normal. His left back leg is bent and the foot is tucked under the front left leg. His right back foot is emerging in the triangle space created by his left legs. It’s just absurd, really.

Nope. He was showing it off specifically as a Nazi tattoo more than a decade ago.
But according to a person who socialized with Platner when he was living in Washington, D.C., more than a decade ago, Platner had specifically acknowledged that the tattoo was a Totenkopf, the "death's head" symbol adopted by an infamous Nazi SS unit that guarded concentration camps in World War II. "He said, 'Oh, this is my Totenkopf," the former acquaintance told Jewish Insider recently, speaking on the condition of anonymity to address a sensitive issue. "He said it in a cutesy little way." The exchange occurred in 2012 at Tune Inn, a popular dive on Capitol Hill where Platner later worked as a bartender and was a frequent patron while he attended The George Washington University on the G.I. bill, according to the former acquaintance. He would often take his shirt off™ drinking with friends late at night at the bar, and on at least one occasion had stated he knew what the tattoo represented, the former acquaintance recalled. Platner gave varying accounts of the image during this time, saying at one point he was aware it was a Totenkopf when he had first gotten the tattoo several years prior and at another time claiming he had not known, according to the former acquaintance. The mixed accounts indicate that Platner has at least long been aware of the symbols's connection to Nazism, even as he said in the podcast interview he was not familiar with any such association when he chose to get the tattoo.

They are quite purposefully less visible. Stops and arrests are happening in under 10 minutes mostly. They have been targeting construction crews and work vans, and are overwhelmingly focused in Wards 1 and 4. Here’s a video I took of FBI, CBP, HSI, and others with MPD in Petworth about 2 weeks ago.

I need to get up because I have work that’s overdue and this laying on my elbow position is getting old, but the dog is sleeping so peacefully so I cannot move. I’m even typing this with the lightest taps to be quiet for him.

There is a LOT of filming going on and reporting out where feds and ICE are in DC. I know everyone means to be helpful when sharing that information, so I encourage everyone to get up to speed on the SALUTE method, which allows us to share info that is precise and doesn’t sow more fear.
S.A.L.U.T.E DOCUMENTATION S size: How many agents/ officers/vehicles? A Activity: What are the agents doing? Knocking on doors? Detaining someone? Attempting to enter private property? L Location: Give an exact address, intersection and/or landmark. U- Units: What letters, details, or patches are visible on the uniforms/jackets/vests/vehicles? Plainclothes? Masked? Pretending to be police? Refused to identify themselves? T -Time: What is the date and time? This info should be shared quickly. E-Equipment: What did agents have with them?
