There's one place downtown I know about that has strict guidelines for historical safety reasons. Leather bar iirc - if you're not in gear, you won't get in. I get it, but not really my kind of place to frequent.

And it's weird to me that someone who speaks multiple languages would be persnickety about the words people use to describe themselves.
Makes it clear to me it's not about the language or labels people use specifically, it's about other people not living or behaving in ways they approve of.
