Pavement parking is a choice, and illegal unless there are road signs to the contrary. @livingstreets.bsky.social don't ask for the registration plates to be obscured before uploading to their map.

This is an interesting point. Just checked, my walk to Secondary School (age 11/12) was 1.7 miles each way. Probably not uncommon for the time I feel.
