Hard to say for sure- don’t think anywhere on the floor will offer a natural advantage. I guess I’d try and aim to be side on to the stage area rather than at either end.

I saw Pearl Jam’s first UK gig (in a local pub called The Esplanade) and Radiohead supporting a band called The Sultans Of Ping FC (at a local club called The Pink Toothbrush).

Enjoyed most of the excellent line-up at South Facing today in Crystal Palace Park- managed to get there in time to see Caroline, The Twilight Sad, Lankum and Mogwai who were all on great form.

We’re seeing Nine Inch Nails this evening, so here’s a stub from one of their 2007 Brixton Academy dates. This was only the 3rd time since 1994 that I’d seen them and I loved what Aaron North brought to the band on that tour- only the current line up have sounded better.
