Agreed. After having reviewed the chassis before and after playtest, it's extremely mystic/magic warrior and less deific. I've basically scrubbed of rare at my table and it's uncommon instead, the call sign of "this is sick, but tell me more about your concept so we can make it fit better"

Like they're right but not for any reason they want to be.

It's nothing I consider seriously. Just one that popped into my head today while it's quiet.

Yeah, yeah, suuuure. Lol

Sweep my geriatric ass up while you're here, there's bottle out back where I keep my old geocities web 1.0 page

feels like the folds/wrinkles are too... thin? maybe if they were chunkier, like fat?

not advice, I'm also bad at this and trying to parse it, too

Get placed into a homunculus made of human flesh, stepping yourself off the static nature of godhood, allowing you to seize the power of creation with grief of a life lived and lost, with the despair of unknowingly sacrificing your lost love.

All required to actually save midgard from Ragnarok

Valkyrie Profile. Play on normal or easy, and get a game about collecting the dead to fight in Ragnarok.

Play on hard, make the right decisions, you realize that you thought you were human before being reactivated, begin to doubt Odin, get smited for it, have your soul collected and --

Not to mention the cycle of mana is perpetuated though human sacrifice, arguably eradicating even the consciousness of the human that becomes the next tree, and the threat that if you don't do it mana will wane until the planet is devoid of life because of technological warfare in the past.

I suppose that makes sense. Before depression locked my personality away into whatever hole it dug out, I was bullied a lot for being a crying ass a child

two rather regular people just navigating a weird situation, and their crack team of questionably moral'd viziers that constantly try to one up each other but actually make the whole process take longer because all their meddling actually just gets in the way

The general definition is "touching asking a boundary or at a point" so possibly?

Adjacent usually includes diag, but they didn't use that, so point against, but the differentiation here might be allowing place in a line, but then otherwise they'd use burst if they wanted to avoid that.

I say yes

So we got home and I tried it all on at once.

For the first time I didn't have to struggle past all the masculine features to see "her".

I cried.
I cried so hard.
I'm crying now, remembering it to type this out.

I'm 39 and I got to see myself for real for the first time in my entire life

Kirby has so many fun and interesting concepts for powers and way too many are forgotten in one game, or worse, brought back half assed and lost as part of incremental power increases that simply aren't as interesting.

Considering the work the battlezoo team did to keep it in line with the system, you could probably use the guidelines Paizo put out for flying ancestries that weren't directly touched by the remaster releases to bump flight earlier on the dragon ancestry
December 7, 2025 at 11:43 PM
At least for PF2e. I have no idea if battlezoo is ever going to publish an errata to change it. I doubt, considering they likely run on even tighter margins than Paizo does, and Paizo isn't brokering movie deals anytime soon like 5e was.

I think the dragon ancestry from battlezoo initially developed before the remaster project was announced by Paizo (and the subsequent changes to ancestry-granted flying that bright it online earlier). Its in line with previous benchmarks from when it was initially published.
