I wrote to my MA senators-- I vote in MA although I live in London-- after a previous incident at Logan some time ago during trump 2.0. I will write them again.

Everyone I know considers that it could happen to them. But some still travel and hope for luck. It worries me a lot.

Oh, right. Whoops. They did that, didn’t they? I have a student who worked in Afghanistan setting up refugee resettlement and he says he cannot believe the deportations. The whole time he felt so good about the USA as a haven for people (parents are immigrants). We haven’t talked about this.

Texas had AMAZING universities. How do people in Texas not know that and push back? How is it going to help the people of Texas in any way to destroy multiple world-class institutions?

I don’t know what this says but I don’t think it’s a new trend. In one group house I lived in they would talk about how the landlady told them she was avoiding her husband by coming over to ‘check on things’ but it took 2 minutes then she would sit in her car for hours reading novels and smoking.

People do rice bran baths and mud baths and even milk baths. Perhaps this could be a new trend.

Maybe the should work more directly with the clinics themselves. The doctors would not have to watch their patients die for no reason because they don’t have a $35 tube. What’s the point of saving a life one year and letting the person die for some extraneous minor reason the next?

It makes practical sense because some people want multiple partners—and it could be like a bigger family, or extending the family. But a lot of people aren’t set up for it psychologically. Maybe they could become so as culture changes. But the 1-1 bonding can be easier and works well for many of us.
