Hell yeah fuck yeah! Similar story with Paris & her son M&M. They told us M had about 6 months and he went on for about 5ish more years. We lost Paris earlier this year and not because of the cardio issue, but because she was at least 19 years old, likely older. Geaux get 'em, Orion!

Still not 100% polished the way I want but 40ish years of tar and nicotine took their toll on the veneer and it's in good enough shape to keep original. Got maybe 95% of the smoke smell out, if I get it to 98% this is going to be my new home deck.

Paris (lower) and her son MM (short for Mini-Me, we called him "Em" or "M&M"). Judy was a dear friend who passed 2 weeks before my dad. Judy's son found Paris when he was a student at Holy Cross (on Paris Ave, hence her name). She was preggers and had her litter in Judy's shop.
