I see why people were doing reintroductions now.

I am an ADHD/Autism self-advocate and researcher. I skeet these things sporadically ADHD/Autism/AuDHD science, local Aotearoa (NZ) politics, my own personal experiences with AuDHD.
I also skeet a lot of shitposts, and reskeet cool art I love.
Woke up this morning and my first thought was this song I hadn't heard in at least a decade playing in my head.

The speed at which centre-left people have taken to using AI slop is so indicative of their general values.

Thought Tylenol caused autism according to the ghouls, but as they faced a lot of litigation I see they have returned to vaccines.

Guess we are going to inflate the bubble for a bit longer, what could possibly go wrong.

This was one of the hardest years to decide Game of the Year, but this game was truly special. Really hoping it wins.

Silksong then Hades II as my runners up.

The late diagnosed experience a lot of people with ADHD have of terrible relationships with their parents, before understanding that a lot of the time they are neurodivergent themselves, and have had several more decades of not understanding themselves to compound things like RSD.

Oh hey, I was talking about this the other day. BCI and AI tech is nightmare fuel for so many reasons.
Mind-reading devices can now predict preconscious thoughts: is it time to worry?
Ethicists say AI-powered advances will threaten the privacy and autonomy of people who use neurotechnology.

It's also Trans Day of Remembrance tomorrow. This decision will actively contribute to there being more names on the list of people we honour next year.

So sick of rightwing grifters being able to sound reasonable because most people have no idea how things work.

The pharmaceutical industry is built on low quality evidence because ethically double blinding life saving medicine is not possible due to violating ethical principles.

If we are stopping puberty blockers due to a lack of evidence, then by that metric all SSRIs should also be stopped.

Device misuse is an interesting way to phrase in possession of devices that might have objectionable material such as child pornography and bestiality.
Twenty police staff under investigation over device misuse - charges possible
Police previously said a ‘small number’ of staff were being investigated over inappropriate material. That number is actually about 20

This is the crux of my issue with AI. It has very limited use cases, and a lot of the times the things it is being used to do - are not things you would ever want AI doing.
Growing majority of Australians believe AI creates more problems than it solves - Roy Morgan Research
New research from Roy Morgan reveals Australians are increasingly concerned about artificial intelligence (AI), with 65% (up 8% points since 2023) believing that “overall, artificial intelligence (AI)...

I’ll be in NZ for the better part of the next fortnight—Wellington, Auckland, and a quick jaunt to Hamilton on Te Huia—and of course I’ll be resuming my very official Pie Inspector role. What bakeries in those three cities can I simply not afford to miss? Who’s doing the finest stuff right now?

How did we let our politicians turn us into a society that resents public services, support, and kindness?

How did we let them convince us that human decency and empathy are wrong?

We really need to sort ourselves out before we kill ourselves through selfishness.
