This is a scam email I got today. AI-written text, following the exact same template as what hundreds of other authors have received, complete with an easily seen through AI-generated fake portrait.

328 lines in on this poem and I'm still not done. And I've already got a whole extra page of edits I'm planning on going back to work in once it's done. Kind of ironic how big the poem is compared to how small the painting was that started this.

I'm now at 216 lines and in the home stretch of my next big spooky poem. I've kicked the idea around for about a year, made this little painting on Halloween that helped push me to start it, and have been piecing it together a little at a time ever since. I hope I can find a home for it!
