Michael Rulli: "Jack Smith, in my opinion, this is treasonous. Let that word sink it. That's what this is. Jack Smith and his little clownies will destroy this republic. They say w/the snake, you cut off the head. If he's leading this, we have to let future people know we're not gonna put up w/this"

While Trump murders people on boats for supposedly trafficking drugs, Jonathan Braun, a convicted drug trafficker serving a 10 year sentence he pardoned in 2021, will be sentenced in court today after he sexually assaulted a woman after Trump freed him from prison.

There are cases like this happening every day. Trump is the most pro-criminal president in history - if you are wealthy and have connections. Spare us the “Law and Order” bs.

It should be a basic minimum requirement of political leadership that you be an effective and persuasive communicator in the current era, able to tour the country to support your candidates and policies in public forums with real people. If you can’t do that, you aren’t a leader.

I guess Mike Johnson’s latest excuse to block a vote on releasing the Epstein files is now over.
Will he come up with a new one or are we finally going to see where each House Republican stands on this?

Was the possibility that Repubs would dig in and refuse to compromise because they don’t care about Dem priorities not considered before this began? If it was, was “calling attention to the issues” (the only thing achieved) worth doing this? Is a shutdown the only way to do that?

The billionaire owner of the Washington Commanders might name his new stadium after a man who just got mercilessly booed by his entire fan base because they despise him. Seems like a brilliant branding strategy.

Anyone who believes that the Senators who voted for the non-deal did so without Schumer’s consent while he votes no for show is gullible & naive. You either do this with a plan and exit strategy or you don’t do it at all. There is a disconnect between Dem voters & Sen leadership.

80% of Democratic voters want a new leader in the Senate.
Does that matter at all to Democratic senators?

The only political accomplishment out of this for Dems is that when health insurance skyrockets for 22 million Americans in 42 days, it will be clear to even low information voters that Republicans are the ones responsible. Whether that makes all this worth it remains to be seen.

Please don’t think this beltway game of having retiring Dem senators vote yes while everyone else votes no is going to shield leadership from the end result. We see what is happening and can’t be fooled by those games.

Was the thought process going into this that Dem voters would be satisfied with an appearance of resistance? That we would say, well, you guys tried really hard & we give you an A for effort? Because my opinion is that performative drama is the MAGA brand, it should not be ours.

They could have kept it about football or something generic. And every other question was that. But then this question invited Trump to turn a football game into a Trump lie festival. We don’t want partisan politics & lies in an NFL broadcast booth, we want to watch a game. bsky.app/profile/atru...
Fox gives Trump a platform during their NFL broadcast to peddle his absurd lies about "prices are coming way down", "we inherited a mess," and "our country has over $17 trillion being invested in it." Absolutely shameful for all involved.

There is no Dem who thinks that Schumer voting No washes his hands of it. He is the captain of the ship and owns the process and end result. If he can’t run the team, then someone else needs to. Hopefully the other Dem senators understand the mood of the voters. If not, you will.

I just hope the former Capitol PD officer who was accused in the story of being the J6 pipe bomber sues The Blaze and this writer. He got his 13 million viral views. Now it looks like maybe he’s talked to a lawyer about it.

The reason why Trump continues to fall for QAnon and satire posts and puts them out as fact is because he has dementia and has no idea what his own Admin is doing from day-to-day. That, and he’s a habitual liar. meidasnews.com/news/wow-tru...
