I haven’t been able to do my usual amount of holiday baking the last two years, but whenever I do, it makes me happy to see the simple joy it brings, including this morning, when the office crew annihilated these cookies 😅 (chocolate chip with shortbread baked into them—all from scratch!)

One cool thing I routinely forget about being an author is that WE become the gift idea, the stocking stuffer, or in this case, the Cyber Monday deal. Check it out, Canada, not just for the book lover in your life, but the foodie, too (i.e. lemon pesto pasta recipe included🍝🤤).. shorturl.at/yhdxm
