The Whyborne & Griffin series by Jordan L. Hawk had me in a chokehold last year. Period eldritch sorcery found family vibes. Easily some of my favourite books I’ve ever read! Also Martha Wells’ Witch King, which is more of a high fantasy read.

Easy off oven cleaner works for mine, but that lye based stuff outgasses like hell so take care with ventilation

Picked up the Rath & Rune books and Fever after just finishing and enjoying the hell out of the Whyborne & Griffin series!
