i was racking my brain on how to fake low poly volumetric lights. i figured out how to combine the front face fresnel + back face inverted fresnel. the material is double sided to save vertices.

basically softens the edges of the cone with parameters.

i THINK it's fixed now.. but with some caveats.
SSAO + Lens Flares only works with Forward + Depth Source.

Depth Normals doesnt seem to calculate properly.

spent today not much coding but trying around different stuff for lights. lens flares didn't work on webgl because of some bugs. light shafts looked ok. multiple point lights seem performant enough on webgl.
