I'll be giving a talk at Jupiter's Eye Book Cafe with D.J. Lee on Oct. 3! Learn about: conversations with the dead about illuminated printing, seeing in the infinite in everything, englobing the vortices of spacetime, and why everyone is a prophet.

If you see this, quote skeet with a screenshot from a video game that released the year you were born.

From this Superman fan born the year the 78 film came out, thank you @jamesgunn.bsky.social for the movie you made. I know you can't say anything, but I hope that you can do for \S/ games what you've already done for the movie. Cheers.

Reading Pauline Hopkins’s Of One Blood (1901), one of the earliest examples of Africanfuturism is oddly soothing in the midst of all of this political shit. It’s available through MIT’s Radium Age series.

This is a daguerreotype of an 1852 portrait of Ada Lovelace by HW Phillips. She was in intense pain from terminal uterine cancer, but sat for the portrait b/c Phillips's father had painted Lord Byron. Her face just kills me.
