Ever swiped something from the Book’s for Soldiers box? I did once. It was The Stranger by Albert Camus and I thought “No one would read this in a foxhole.”

Watched The Wild Bunch this afternoon as prep for an online group zoom discussion. Alas, I got the time wrong. Oh well, great movie as always and it makes me want to rewatch everything by Bloody Sam Peckinpah, a titanic figure of New American Cinema.
