Lace shawl in progress, pattern is Lemon Heart from Drops website, I added beads. Some days it's two rows forward, six rows backward. Can be a good thing - when the next pattern didn't work, I hadn't noticed a whole repeat of an earlier chart I missed. Yarn is from Fleece Artist.

I don't understand attention-seeking around people's food. So I posted a photo of mine one night.

I'm seeing a lot of people posting plates of food like they're Jamie Oliver. So here's mine. Orange chicken, rice and green beans.

We need to ask Canadian companies to resist offers of purchase from US competitors, because last time we wnt through this, McCormicks bought French's. So once a week or more email a prominent CDN food producer and tell them now is not the time to sell.

Also, maybe out of date, but this:

It was fine, but it's important to make blocks from pixels, then sew them together. Don't think in rows or columns. Mine were 5x5, then 10x10, then 20x20 etc.

Took me awhile to find it. Here is a chart, probably out of date, but shows which American corporations own what brands

I saw an image of a quilt similar to this and worked out my own version. My favourite quilts tend to be things that challenge tradition. A metaphor for my whole life, I suppose. ca 2019 #quiltsky
