I’m trying to think when I was in Pennsylvania if I ever saw any quit smoking commercials? New York also will pay for free tools, and stuff like that.

In the spring of 1962 I was in Junior High. My friend Jimmy the greaser & I were hanging out behind the bleachers of the football field and he talked me into trying a cigarette. 3 puffs & I just about coughed my lungs out. Decided smoking cigs was not for me.

1 of the guys who delivers from a local restaurant also reeked of cigarette smoke, and my food bag always did too. Someone must have complained because he stopped smoking in the car.

I was in the grocery store the other day and a man walked past me in an aisle. He absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke so I quickly left that aisle and went to the next one. Unfortunately he must have just come from that aisle because it also reeked. 😩
