This Alabama team didn’t deserve to be here. Good to see them put in the fucking dirt.

My model predicts:

Oregon>JMU
Oklahoma>Alabama
Ole Miss>Tulane
Miami>TxA&M

TTU>Oregon
Indiana>Alabama
Georgia>Ole Miss
OSU> Miami

Indiana>TTU
Ohio St>Georgia

Indiana>Ohio St

Hopefully it’s wrong about the last one.

Personally, I think it's terrible that there's a 15% chance we just left out the best team in college football. Alabama is not better than ND. Everyone knows this, and every computer ranking says this, not just mine.
1) Indiana 23.2 [35.3%] (13-0)
2) TTU 21.5 [28.1%] (12-1)
3) ND 19.3 [14.5%] (10-2)
4) Ohio St 18.6 [9.8%] (12-1)
5) Oregon 14.6 [3.0%] (11-1)
6) Miami 12.5 [2.9%] (10-2)
7) Utah 9.7 [1.4%] (10-2)
8) Georgia 9.6 [0.6%] (12-1)
9) Vandy 8.2 [1.2%] (10-2)
10)Iowa 6.3 [0.5%] (8-4)

The CFP committee has lost track that the goal is to find the best team, so no team left out has an argument that they were the best. It’s not about the top 12. It’s about the top 1.

There is no feasible argument that Alabama is the best team in the country.

“can’t penalize a team for losing a conference championship game”… except BYU???
December 7, 2025 at 5:38 PM
Bama gets blown out in the SEC championship game but stays in because playing in your conference championship game shouldn’t hurt you.

BYU gets blown out in the Big 12 CG and gets kicked out in favor of Miami because????
December 7, 2025 at 6:21 PM
So let me get this straight.
ND is #9 and Bama is #10. ND blows out 4-8 Stanford by 29. Bama beats 5-7 Auburn by 7 and loses by 21 in the SEC championship.

Bama’s performance over that stretch was so impressive and ND’s mere 29 point win so lackluster that Bama climbs to #9 and ND drops to #11? ?

I thought we were leaving this contrived BS behind when we ditched the BCS rankings for the committee.

Two teams not playing, their common opponents not playing, and one jumps 2 rankings to leapfrog the other. Doesn’t make any sense. Bring back the BCS man what the hell.

Oh that’s horseshit
December 7, 2025 at 5:34 PM
Final regular season rankings.

It would be a travesty if ND wasn't in. There's a 15% chance you're leaving the best team out if ND isn't in. 3% with Miami, 0% with Bama. There's a clear choice here if your goal is to find the best team.

Please never show that wrecking ball graphic again 😂

Committee will probably go 9) ND
10) Bama 11) Miami and take ND and Bama.
December 7, 2025 at 12:42 AM
Losing 34-7 to the #4 team is not meaningfully different than losing 28-7 to the #3 team.

If BYU drops, Bama should drop.
December 7, 2025 at 12:27 AM
This Alabama team does not deserve to be in the playoffs. Not over Notre Dame.
December 7, 2025 at 12:05 AM
If the committee drops BYU but not Bama, keeping Bama in and bumping Miami over ND bc of head-to-head, I will straight up riot.
I hope Georgia blows out Bama so the committee has no wiggle room. I thought the committee was doing a good job until last week with that Bama/ND stunt. With Texas Tech beating BYU, ND should be in. Period.

Alabama jumping Notre Dame makes no sense given Saturday's results. It only helps protect Alabama if it loses the SEC championship game.

Notre Dame fans, you think I hate your team. I'm on your side on this one!

CFP has the order of the 2 loss teams completely wrong. Hard to chalk it up to anything other than SEC bias. No reason for Bama to flip ND this week (after barely beating Auburn? Come on)
1) Indiana 23.3 [45.5%] (12-0)
2) Ohio St 18.1 [17.0%] (12-0)
3) TTU 17.0 [16.9%] (11-1)
4) ND 15.7 [9.1%] (10-2)
5) Oregon 14.6 [6.4%] (11-1)
6) Miami 9.0 [0.9%] (10-2)
7) Vandy 7.0 [1.1%] (10-2)
8) Utah 6.6 [0.3%] (10-2)
9) Iowa 6.5 [0.6%] (8-4)
10)Alabama 6.0 [0.4%] (10-2)

Why tf did Bama jump ND????
December 3, 2025 at 1:33 AM
Week 14 ratings. Lot of lackluster showings in the SEC, and Vanderbilt? becomes the highest rated SEC team. The model thinks Indiana being 5.5 dogs to Ohio St in the B10 championship in Indiana is pretty disrespectful lol. I would agree.

If your goal is to maximize the chance the best team makes the playoff, this field would give you a ~99% chance according to my model:

1) Indiana
2) Ohio St
3) ND
4) TTU
5) Oregon
6) Utah
7) Tx A&M
8) Alabama
9) Washington
10) Oklahoma
11) BYU
12) Miami
