Got the Christmas decorations up today! Sunny and Sam’s memorial box is a festive place to be. The house is a bit quiet this time of year without any wet noses leaving prints on the windows, but these silences are part of life 💜🐾

My friend and I had such a fun time at Asha-Rose Bakery and Coffeehouse for their Halloween cake painting night! An edible canvas is the best canvas, in my opinion 😂 Can’t wait to do it again next month! #getcreative #eatcake

Despite the snow, there’s a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving weekend.

What a lovely day to go for a drive! Fall days in SK are my favourite, especially if I’m going to Wynyard. I dropped off the new edition of “In A Cottage We Once Knew,” bought some treats, & came home to find my African violet blossoming for the 2nd time this year! 💜

Happy seventh anniversary, Brett 💜 So glad we were able to have a special lunch yesterday to celebrate. Even though our family looks a little different since this photo was taken, I wouldn't change anything about our life together 💗 Here's to many more years together on our little patch of heaven!

This picture showed up in my memories on Facebook, which was quite fitting as we had to unexpected say goodbye to our gentle giant Sam (left) last night. His health took a sudden turn & we had to make the decision to let him join his sister across the rainbow bridge. The house feels so empty now 🐾💜

It’s weird to only have one dog to celebrate on International Dog Day, but Sam is enjoying life as an only dog. He’s in “retirement mode” as we like to call it — no responsibilities or anyone to supervise, just all the naps and pets. He’s certainly not complaining!
