Embrace the chaos!
My highlight was, after a cancelled train, cramming onto a standing only subsequent train - only room available was right by the toilets (locked).
10 mins into the journey a male & female passenger emerge from said toilet after clearly taking drugs - syringes left over the toilet floor…

It’s utterly crazy. Pre pandemic meeting travel was costing up to £1500 per month. With a special bonus of about 20% of GWR trains running with only half the number of carriages…

At daughter’s primary school sports day (over 10 years ago), the final race was Year 6 twice round the track. As the winning boy came down the back straight he looked back, saw his mate had fallen, stopped, went back, lifted him & ran with him to the finish. Gave up the 1st place for friendship.

Fortunately, don’t need to travel nearly so much now, so London meetings are pretty rare. But when I do, often have to go during peak times to get there on time. Day returns can be astronomically expensive!

Good shout! Banging tune!

I’m probably being wildly over optimistic, but we’re so much better to watch in attack than 18 months ago. Frustrating in terms of physicality, lineout etc, but we look more capable of creating chances & then taking them.

Agree. Got that right.
Overexcited for half time entertainment.

All those with day 3 tickets must be fuming. They’ll get money back but should be able to guarantee some cricket on only day 3!

Oh yeah, maybe the Gods deemed the come down would’ve been too jarring. Safer to keep the emotions on a low for the whole day…

#FridayFive is the feeling a sort of maudlin pre Christmas mood.
1. Fields of Gold - Eva Cassidy.
2. Martha’s Harbour - All About Eve.
3. Mad World - Gary Jules, Michael Andrews.
4. Long Way To Go - Dan Reed Network.
5. Our Corner of the Universe - K.S. Rhoads.

He just seems to intimidate batters out. It’s bizarre. But brilliant!

How can Ofgem claim to be adhering to their priorities & duties?

Happy to take a ‘just in case’ approach to protect energy companies & expecting consumers to help mitigate the risk of unexpected wholesale energy cost rise - which they themselves say is stabilising…? 🤷‍♂️

Shocked, I am.

He always came across as a real team player & very considered in how he spoke…

I mean, he was recruited into the role to do what he did. Anyone with an ounce of decency / integrity would have not appointed or got shot of him immediately.

Had a breakfast club in my school in Wales. Semi rural area. Recruitment was incredibly hard & majority had to do as you say, choose to do it on top of normal hours.

Thank you, as ever, for representing the supporters’ views. I’m deeply suspicious of the WRU Executive’s motives & the nature & inconsistency of their statements.

Wow.
The inability to recognise the commercial relevance of club history is a worry.
It’s also still all about Team Wales, isn’t it?
Pro clubs are just a means to an end as far as he’s concerned. Inability to recognise that Welsh success should also include Welsh club success.
