I think there might be one, truly, no-foolin', legitimately good and fine usage for Generative AI. Do you want to know what it is? I'll tell you:
- any and all animal pain and death sounds for media (tv/movies/games).

I was just reminded of a time a few years ago where I had had to explain to the lead designer of an "up-and-coming AAA FPS", who was a veteran, how you can't actually make gunfire too loud, or at least not as loud as it is IRL unless everything else in-game is whisper quiet.
