One thing I appreciate from Strange New Worlds is that it finally confronted the Eugenics Wars/World War III shit by saying "Look, fuckers got time travel, wibbley-wobbly timey-wimey go fuck yourself."
Honestly I kind of love how the writing considerations that gave us the mess that is the canon slowly leaked into the narrative itself - the writers gave up and just said "the timeline makes no sense and WW3 keeps moving around because of the time war. A wizard did it. Shut up"

I've got my 20-1 bet on Ed sitting very nicely.

Yes, you would need a trend of it in inspection reports to be a cause of worry. The learning on show should be what everyone involved is after.

And that is what worries me in terms of 'not' caring about it.

Oh I agree with both of you. As long as the learning is strong that is the key thing. I still remember a hard fought battle at a KS2 writing moderation for a GDS writer whose book looked like a car crash but was otherwise an exceptional writer. I am glad the correct decision was made.

Do Ofsted have a particular approach to presentation in the new framework? Our last inspection pupil presentation was a real bugbear of the inspection team and this was Jan last year.

I had the exact same double take and was like why is the famous, anti-semite crank proposing hyperloops.

I read this and presumed it was ex Labour MP and anti-semite in chief Chris Williamson.
