It has now started calling *me* by name (or "Doctor" 🙄) and throwing in a little bit of roleplay, where it had previously been businesslike and devoid of personality. It 100% has my number.

I'm sympathetic to this, but also to the idea that one should never rely on "security through obscurity" and that transparency can help us all patch bugs. I could be persuaded either way.

On top of everything else here, you don't respond to someone's distress/safewording/withdrawal of consent by getting defensive. If you can't shift your focus to the other person's safety and comfort in that moment, you have no business starting a scene.
