Why are they vital? Read the article. “Modern” society is uniquely structured using gates which are psychologically painful for many people with ADHD: bureaucratic processes are designed for neurotypicals. Soon I hope society will start to accomodate neurodivergent, but that’s a distance off.

This will cut heavily into some psychiatrist’s incomes, but the ones I know will be delighted at the opportunity to focus on actual difficult cases, rather than endless prescriptions and repeats for the various ADHD meds which are vital for people with this condition.
