Lots of Cybertrucks in Vancouver. They’re even stupider looking in real life, but then you see the drivers… What an expensive way to signal to the world that you’re a deplorable PoS.

Public funds are involved. If kickbacks and bribes are being demanded - no matter what corporate doublespeak is used to make them sound okay - people should be charged with corruption. www.abc.net.au/news/2025-12...

Disinformation propaganda works. Especially when there is pretty much zero effort to counter it. We fixed this for smoking. It’s fixable for climate but not without government putting its shoulder to the wheel.

My daughter just had to sit by an injured kangaroo and wait for the police to come and euthanise it (broken legs). Roads around Canberra are a carnage for local wildlife, and “they’re just stupid” is not a valid response. There are many things which need to be done, but little political will.

By David Speers. A man whose close ties with the opposition, hostility to Labor, ex-Murdoch history and general partisanship and lack of integrity are so well demonstrated that he is a political punchline. Again, a massive fail for ABC’s “judgement”. www.abc.net.au/news/2025-12...
Three things show Albanese's score on trust and integrity
Despite holding a commanding position, Anthony Albanese knows the global trend of sliding trust in government isn't one to be taken lightly.

Oh, and another low, and given the enshitification of Australian retailers I am sure this is coming: I just got charged 79 cents for a printed receipt!

Whatever shitty thing US retailers do, Australian retailers use it as a template.

What’s next for Lehrmann? I mean, is there any other legal self-injury this dull but entitled man-child and rapist could engage in?

It must be some hat. 🤠

Hiya Bluesky friends: any Canadians (specifically Vancouverites) out there? I want to buy a laptop in Vancouver, and I’d welcome recommendations for decent retailers. It’s a birthday present for someone and going to select it (rather than online) is part of the gift.

Does ANYONE actually think that #Farage is a change man, after being a racist POS as a child??

No, me neither!

Don't forget - he's the leader of a #FarRight party. Of course he's still a racist POS.

Speers continues to destroy whatever scant credibility the egregious Buttrose left the ABC with.
I'm guessing ABCTV's #Insiders will spend half the program tomorrow morning on Barnaby Joyce leaving the Nats, the rest on Sussan Ley's leadership. With 3min on the actual Govt being "criticised for sticking to #NetZero during a #CostOfLiving Crisis." 🙄 #auspol

I really hate “Black Friday” and “cyber Monday” sales. We don’t do thanksgiving here, so why is this retail nonsense being imported? Then I look at the other people who say things like this, and realise I’m in really bad company for the most part. So I’ll just roll my eyes at retailers and move on.
