Few things lift my spirits like seeing and hearing visionary thinking made tangible, like the Golden Gate Bridge and the rich tapestry of languages I hear spoken as I stop at one of my favorite vistas in the SF Bay Area.

A better world is always possible.

Petaluma witnessed a grand gesture of romance today as skywriting planes flew in formation with writing a sentence in a massive circle overhead.

It was a sight to behold! We were on our way to dinner and the whole way people were stopped, looking into the sky, often with phones raised recording it.
The words "I love you" being spelled out by 5 planes skywriting like a dot matrix printer.

Taking a victory lap as I approach my birthday. It's been roughly 9 months since I came out (again) and — despite the best efforts of the small minded — I still exist and my world, and sense of self, are only expanding.

I've only got one life. It's too fleeting to spend being anyone but myself.

What language fills greed’s bottomless gut, the flesh that sells flesh, cut away from the bone of debt? The language of cutting is a subtle lexicon, always sounds kinder, gentler, than the trill blade under the tongue of our economy’s math. Pico-cat stands up on his back legs, his front legs on the ledge of a small wooden planter, and his face buried in catnip. Pico is, like, in the cat nip bush. Freshly nipped up, Pico-cat flops around on the warm concrete sidewalk exposing the forbidden floof of his belly.

A momentous morning with ribbon cuttings for the Petaluma Regional Library and this new mural done by a former classmate, MJ Lindo, and her partner Josh! A great day for @sonomalibrary.bsky.social and the City of Petaluma 🎉

I biked over early and helped myself to the sweet new bike racks ✨
