I think it's ok to tell them as long as we don't do it often. I've also found it helps to say that I'm going slowly over something for them to take notes, & to ask if I shd slow down or repeat. Sometimes, I tell them how I take notes, & they have surprised me by marveling about how helpful that is.

It doesn't matter AT ALL. When I see chapters of varying length, I am pleased to see someone writing to the needs of the material (and that is not much variation regardless).

Jackson's dissent, joined by Sotomayor and Kagan, says the evidence showed that gender-incongruent passports led to humiliating, invasive searches of trans Americans (including strip searches) since their gender marker didn't align with their appearance. The policy is both cruel and irrational.
