I keep my fingers crossed more automakers will partner up with Lucid, not just to tap them for their software but also ALL of their various EV powertrain components. The amount of range and performance Lucid is able to crank out *efficiently* is unparalleled.

Peek the size of that EDU.

One more of the 2027 Genesis GV60 Magma's sportier cabin. Slap that orange button.
November 23, 2025 at 5:00 PM
Inbound for 2027, max 650 HP in "Boost" mode, 87 kWh battety, all sorts of chassis and suspension upgrades, P275/35R-21 Pirellis, drift tricks, big brakes, range TBD. Probably will start in the mid to high $70ks.

Hot damn Genesis.

Also, love the orange stitching.

MAGMA! Here's the new hottest GV60 Magma from Genesis. Its really remarkable how Hyundai Motor Group has absolutely transformed its Genesis brand over the past decade into one that's both a serious player in the luxury space and now making a name for itself in motorsports at all levels.

Rivian's software is just adorable fun (and good).

Can't believe they let @joelfeder.bsky.social park here...

Few more shots of the R2. Digging the drop-down rear glass and 40/20/40 split bench.
November 22, 2025 at 4:28 PM
You guys R2! This should be a knock-out product for Rivian when it arrives on sale in 2026. Its size is *perfect*. Rivian is gunning for mass volume with this one, and if it can achieve those sales targets it should be smooth sailing for the startup for a long time. Super excited to see it IRL.

A quick peek at the refreshed 2026 Jeep Grand Wagoneer, whose front looks much closer now to the first concept I saw in 2020 at an event. EREV on the way too.

And a short intermission in LAAS reporting brought to you by legendary Porsche things.

Send the Grizzly Peak Concept into production ASAP please, Chrysler.

.....look at it!

Okay, so new 2026 Cherokee. This is a tremendously important product for Jeep and they NEED to nail it without all sorts of issues that usually plaque Stellantis launches. Good sizing upgrade, good styling, excellent ingress/egress to the big backseat, big trunk, interior up front is disappointing.
November 22, 2025 at 12:37 AM
You guys I need it. Gorgeous color, and I've heard nothing but positive things from colleagues about how the new gas Charger drives. Its begging for a V8, which should print bills for Stellantis.

Still adorable, still desperately want one, still unfortunately too expensive for our market's buyers. The "happiness" the ID.Buzz radiates when people see it parked or in motion is rare and cherished.

Also recognize that blue bus? Amazing.
November 21, 2025 at 7:21 PM
Undoubtedly the most disappointing product I've seen in a long time, being the diehard Subaru fan I am. The Uncharted I feel just is lazy, not true to Subaru's DNA, and there's nothing appealing about it. Collaborations (Toyota here) with other automakers can work but this shouldn't have happened.

Not everyone's sold on th 2027 Telluride X-PRO's busy front face (trim-specific grille), but the rest of it looks fitting for the rugged intentions. Meaty rubber too, but I would have made those black fender accents usable (tie-down points, GoPro mounts).

Regardless, Kia will again sell a shit ton.
November 21, 2025 at 7:12 PM
Meet Kia's new 2027 Telluride in the flesh. There's some big wins and big losses. Love the new sheetmetal and it looks more elite than ever, neat cabin materials and simpler layout, finally a hybrid (!)...but the V6 is gone (BIG boo!), as is most physical switchgear inside and proper door handles.

A few more of Hyundai's rocketship...

Also looking forward to seat time in the tamer refreshed IONIQ 6.
November 21, 2025 at 6:59 PM
Boom! Here's our new 2026 high-performance IONIQ 6 N packing a fiery 641 horsepower, massive brakes, and other track tricks. While I'm surprised given the IONIQ 6's sales Hyundai is giving our market this, I bet its going to be a total riot to drive. Can't wait.

Mixed feelings on the big wing.

Stretch that wheelbase a bit, cut from the D-pillar back, and you get a more rugged looking Santa Cruz pickup.
November 21, 2025 at 6:53 PM
Making news was Hyundai's Crater Concept which previews the brand's growingly more aggressive approach into the off-road scene with it's various XRT products. Love the design, cool name, and I'd bet styling you see here makes its way to the next Tuscon and Santa Cruz (visualize a bed on this thing).

I mean...this is so easy guys. That key "handshake" between the vehicle and charging station is instantaneous. Charging an EV should always be this easy.

Also as good as In-N-Out is, Culver's remains superior.
November 21, 2025 at 4:29 PM
Here to report I am doing "California things". Also this charging station is incredible.

I've made a friend this morning...

Meaty rubber on this one.
