Dad, husband, IT guy, Star Wars enjoyer, occasional children's book author, app developer, and unrepentant Michigan man. Takes you agree with are my own, spooky ghost responsible for all others.
Slippery slope between copying that floppy and downloading a car. Did early 2000's PSAs teach you nothing at all?

No, ketchup is American diabetes sauce. We took it from the world, filled it with sugar, and now pump it into our veins while we sleep. Not many people know this.

The bigger problem I don't think we're addressing is... these people will be happy to deputize themselves to do it for *free*. This is not just a funding issue, it's a "what do we do with a secret police force who will never willingly disband" issue.

FWIW, when I do see veterans commenting on this activity, it’s generally about how shockingly unprofessional and dangerous it all is. How they had rules to follow when they were deployed and how actual terrorists were afforded more care and respect than our own citizens.

Never. The people in charge of implementing the “we have had enough” protocol (impeachment, removal, prosecution, etc.) have no red line for “enough” because they still want more. Congress has nullified itself on purpose. This is the plan. The Nazis are not going to save us from the other Nazis.

Genuinely did not know this was a rare thing outside of the US (or it least in Europe). It's a pretty basic, non trim-specific feature here. You usually get a few years of OnStar (or whatever OEM equivalent) subscription free with the vehicle and it has all that neat stuff baked in.
