Afro-Latino 🇧🇷🇨🇴, as in BLACK. As queer as a goldfish in a birdcage. I’m prone to flights of fancy, and I’m a whimsical creature. So take my hand, and let’s go on an adventure.
i’m being so serious when I say I absolutely believe it. If not that then something weird is happening. And I know people keep on saying “oh well you’re not a theater kid you’ve never been on a cast”, this feels different.

I agree Cynthia Erivo has a very expressive face. Though I feel like her default expression is shock and surprise.

Can I be completely honest? I understand that working on two films back to back with the cast give you a camaraderie that most every day people don’t have with their coworkers. But it almost feels cult adjacent whenever I specifically see Ariana Grande, and Cynthia Erivo talk about the filming

Tarantino is painfully overrated. And I feel like the only reason why he really gets the accolades he gets is because he doesn’t shy away from being a racist piece of shit, nor does he shy away from his disdain for women. He embraces it and wraps it in the guise of “Art”

But I don’t think I will be revisiting the franchise anytime soon. And I own it on DVD, just watching it again really was offputting if that makes any sense?

Not to mention now that I’m older, and I’ve read the ways that Tarantino absolutely tortured Uma Thurman on the set of both of those films they leave a nasty taste in my mouth. I enjoy the films for the nostalgia, and Uma Thurman was acting in those films, do you hear me?! She was acting!

There are 1 million reasons why a woman might want to rage, why she might want to seek revenge. But a lot of directors always go to sexual assault, and the loss of a child boiling women down to their genitalia and their ability to bear children.

A lot of male directors don’t know how to depict “female rage” without using the vehicle of sexual assault or the loss of a child as the impetus. Now don’t get me wrong, both of those things are enough to rage. But but it’s a trope used for actresses that is absolutely tired.

I love the kill Bill franchise. It’s the first film like that that I ever saw. And me in high school truly enjoyed it, but now as someone who is closer to 40 than 21 watching the whole bloody affair today highlighted a few things for me.

Correct. I wouldn’t be surprised if the YouTube premium is selling like hotcakes because that allows you not to watch any commercials at all. That’s what I got once I saw the first ICE commercial.
