Down in the dumps with all my pressing work (bench and OHP) which I think comes down to "shouldering" too much volume, owing to my anthropometry.

This #MaxEffort #BTNpress wasn't so bad though, here for 95, 105, a failed 115 PR, and then a 110 salvage. Backdowns for 85x2x10 was at least improvement

Here's a melancholy little #ORCλ sequence (running on #uxn) and applied to the polyphony channel of #mGB (channel 5 through #ArduinoBoy, etc.) to run the #DMG ( #gameboy). All this is happening through the #NerdSEQ which is handling #MIDI CC values with a patch.

#MaxEffort #AndersonFrontSquat, here for 205, 215, and the 225 PR, and backdowns of 175x2x5. Then we've got snatch-grip #highPulls for 175x10 and 11. Following this up with Nordic curls and reverse Nordic mobility (trying to get used to seiza/hero-pose positioning in order to do the full shebang).

More #RepsForMishima on this #MaxEffort #JMpress off the pins, here for 125, 135, a 150 PR, then the 155 PR, both of which are the most weight I've touched on the movement in any variation or standard. Then it was backdowns of 120x8 and then 6.

Third #MaxEffort session on #snatchGripDeadlift, here for 325, 345, and the 365 PR, which moved easily enough that I may just go for 375 next time. Then 295x5 for the backdown.

I've also included the first set of my jump to 95x2x7 on #weightedSitUps and then also one set of #sideBends with 15x10.

Dealing with golfer's elbow on #deadPreachers so I've opted to put some reps on my lower intensity work until I'm back up to repping 95, after which I'll resume max effort work, micro-loading my way to 135.

Here I've managed a 75x16 PR and then 12. 65x16 was my previous best nine days back.

Continuous hang #powerCleans after building up to a #MaxEffort mid-thigh single of 160, and then worked off that in the continuous fashion for backdowns of 125x2x8.

#MaxEffort #HackenschmidtSquats here for 70, 80, and the 90 PR. Not sure quite what was going on with these backdowns of 70x3, then 6, and then, since I could not leave it that way, I pulled myself together and managed to at least match my last best of 70x8.

#JMpress from the pins here for 115x2x10. I really am loving doing this from the pins much more than not, makes it easier to maintain a good standard of form and effort. Be repping a plate in no time.

Have had a bit of golfer's elbow, so I'm breaking up the dead preachers a bit by reintroducing the #barbellCurl, here for only 95x12 and 13 (been 4 months since I touched this, and 8 since I entered this rep range). I think the 15+ rep PR should be achievable next time.

#MaxEffort #SLDL here for 365, 385, and finally that 400 PR (wasn't such a chore now, was it?). Probably could have done 405 without too much trouble having spaced this out from from my regular #deadlift in the rotation, but we'll see how 405 moves next time before such a jump. Backdowns for 315x5.

#MaxEffort #squats here for 325, 335, and only 345 since I wasn't so thrilled with my rep speeds. Probably sandbagging a bit, but I'm trying to be extra patient with bringing these back up to an advanced level. Backdowns felt reasonably productive at 270x2x5, then 270x2x10 #goodMornings.

#doubleTapRepEffort #BTNpress for 85x10 and then 9. Coming along pretty nicely. I'm finding it uniquely fruitful to really push through these. I chock it up to the ring HSPU work approximating a pin press equivalent of these, incidentally biased toward lockout (forehead level).

#MaxEffort #deadPreachers here for 100, 110, a failed 120 and then a successful 120 for a brutal PR. Then it was some damned tough backdowns of 95x2x6 for another PR. Thinking I'll have to slow down and crawl my way to 135 but that I'll probably keep my backdowns and rep effort work at 95 a spell.

#MaxEffort #closeGripBench here for 215, 225, a failed PR of 245, and successful salvage rep of 235. I'll get that 245 next time for sure. Then it was backdowns of 185x2x5 with a really decent clip, especially on the second set.

#MaxEffort #pinSquats today for 295, 315, and finally got to that 330 PR, though it was pretty iffy from 315's slowdown and 330 getting a bit rattled on the pins. Then it was 250x2x5 for the backdowns.

This #MaxEffort #seatedPress has been one tough nut to crack (particularly with sore traps from those high pulls a couple days ago), so I've decided upon the more patient approach by making the backdowns more specific to driving up that max. Now it's submax sets of 5 with each rep dead from the pins
