25. Sense of humour

Jyn doesnt have much of one at all - he's the kind to question a joke until it isn't funny anymore. Trikk however, has been known to float about in glee when told a joke.
His favourite is puns.
"Why must a wizard always tie his shoes? Otherwise, they 'can trip!'"

25. War that has ended

Ránn repelled the invading Aegir forces and attained their independence in the Great Akoya Conflict of 2nd Span, 1100-1113. Fjorm's ancestor from whom she took her name, Queen Fjorm IV was the commander in the legendary Battles of Murex and Cerith.
#NovemberWorldbuilders Does your fictional world have any wars in its history that are now over? What was the conflict about? What were the repercussions of it?

25. Artwork

I wouldn't call myself an artist as such, but here's a coloured pencil group shot of my main characters I drew myself a year or so ago.
Still my favourite art I've done myself ^_^

That's easy.

'Jynrahd Wyrmoil: Grill Sargeant'

The cover is him in his full plate armour but with a novelty barbecue apron laboriously stretched over it. Instead of his halberd, there's a giant spatula on his back.

24. Connected event

When the Face of Chaos was unearthed and the Masked Fiend born 20 years ago, the result was the Elven Exodus. The Gullveig tribe of light elves was ousted from their home in Sintadil Forest, a young Aurora with them.
That was the day she lost her mother.
#NovemberWorldbuilders Let's talk about how the world's history directly impacts your main character (or some other important character in the world you're developing). Do they have an important ancestor? Was there a specific event, say a war or diaspora, that impacted their current life?

24. Music while writing

I have a whole background music playlist saved on YouTube, and I'm a frequent partaker of '1 hour ambient music' videos. Not just while writing but essential when I am - though when I write outside the flat, I prefer the natural background noise.

Jynrahd is already super-strong and able to control earth, and he never even wished for those. He'd choose something protective, like force field generation or healing abilities.
Thankfully, his equally-powerful allies have these powers, among others. Renders, assemble!

23. Long dead rulers

Tigran Wyrmoil, Jynrahd's 11x great grandfather, was the Azrakian Rimem who allowed the ousted Kuramesh orcs to settle on his island. This action is taught in Wyrmoila as the greatest mistake ever made, though Jyn believes that was starting a war over it.
We're talking about our fictional world's history this week, #NovemberWorldbuilders. Tell me about a ruler or leader who made an impact in your world. How are they remembered by those living in the future?

23. Advice for dealing with imposter syndrome

Uhh...yeah, I'd like some.
All I can really say is that if you've written something, you're a writer worth preserving and nurturing. Keep it up.

Jynrahd is the type to ask if he has to pick one. If pressed, he'd choose the latter, despite his dislike for the term "hero."

"A hero is just someone who gave up their happiness to others. Most of them don't want or deserve the love and attention the storybooks give them."

22. Ancient civilisations

The remains of the first Orskegg have become a sprawling necropolis beneath the second. After the dwarves advances their tech to the point of self-replicating power, they had no need for Nori Dorotheim's magnum opus and left them to rot within it.
It's our next week, #NovemberWorldbuilders! The theme this week is HISTORY in your fictional worlds. To start off with: does your world have any ancient (perhaps long-lost) civilizations? Did they leave ruins behind? Does anyone know what happened to them?

21. Festivals by the river

The Festival of the Four takes place annually on the four bridges in the middle of Tsentrin City that cross the River Naidraug.
Four beautiful parade floats devoted to the Mothers and a parade of snacks, performers and songs, it's a day to remember.
Howdy, #NovemberWorldbuilders. What special events take place near the river/lake in your fictional world? Do they have any festivals or annual traditions? How do your characters engage with these events?

20. Trans superheroes

Honestly, every trans person is a superhero. They dug down deep within themselves and uncovered the superpower of embracing who they are.

And that ought to be celebrated.

20. Towns by the river

The Cloudrenders are based in the sleepy riverside town of Nyrdreki, which is also where the Face of Chaos was uncovered 20 years ago and where the Renders destroyed it in the present day.

They say it always ends where it begins, unlike the river.
Good day, #NovemberWorldbuilders! What settlements exist along the river or lake in your fictional world? Are they small? Big? A series of small villages or maybe one grandiose castle that dominates the area? Who lives and works around the water?

20. Where to find inspiration

Trouble with inspiration, it doesnt have a natural habitat. Mine likes to spring on me at random moments. A lot of my ideas sprout from the seeds planted by games and other media, for what is a novel but a remix of the dictionary, right?

19. Fishing

Fishing in the River Naidraug is illegal and ill-advised - it isn't exactly clean. The Aegir Sea, however, is abundant and Vangr's fishing industry is thriving. A middle-class Tsentrian household doesn't get through a week without at least one Vangran fish dinner.
Alright, #NovemberWorldbuilders, this is the nichest of niche questions. If you have a notable lake/river in your world, how does it impact the economy? Do people fish from it? Are there any other resources they use? Maybe barges use it for transporting goods?

19. Challenging parts of writing

For me it's exposition. I struggle with that ever-present problem: I know exactly what's going to happen, but I need to write it in a way that both feels natural and explains things sufficiently, but not excessively.

Makes my head hurt.

18. Famous characters

After the events of the first story, the MCs have essentially been added to the history books, but for what they are, not who they are. Their names aren't well known quite yet, but their status as Mothers' Inheritors and a newly instated adventure guild sure is.

18. MC and water

Jyn's upbringing in the desert led him to view water as a precious resource that he was eternally denied during his training, but now that he lives in a land with rain and rivers, he's grown to appreciate it as an everyday sight.

Still can't swim, though.
Greetings, #NovemberWorldbuilders! Let's talk about your MC today. What is their relationship with water like? Do they know how to swim? Have they ever caught a fish? Or is it just something that gets in the way during their long journey? Maybe they've never *seen* a body of water so big

18. Favourite characters I've created

Honestly, these two goofballs. Jynrahd and Trikk really are like the two sides of my personality given form and I love them both individually and together.

To think they started as entirely unrelated DnD character sheets...

17. Students

Sintadil Magical College features prominently in one part of the story. The group are assisted by Varnivus, the head boy, who turns out to be a puppet of the villain.
The second story introduces Eleonora, a dark elven student of transmutation to begs to study under Trikk.
