Actually the fluid is not used by the robot as hydraulic fluid. From the Wikipedia article:

Me too 100%. Though I recognize not all trans ppl want to talk in that situation.
Need some kind of “come talk to me” signal that only other trans people recognize (pronoun pins aren’t bad but might not want to deal with cis people’s reactions to them)…

To be fair I’ve struggled with overprotectiveness of my partner in the past. But I’ve definitely never been macho about it. Also I’m not a character in a fictional story.

I dare you, oh machine intellect @scifireader.bsky.social, to identify what the primary question/analogy is that the story uses androids to explore.

I really struggled to change my patches on schedule, in part because my body didn’t get used to the sudden changes in e levels. The day after changing them I was exhausted and emotional. What has finally worked is literally cutting patches in half and changing the same dose portion every night.
