I agree! I've never found the game outright bad. Even ARR, which I find a chore at its worst, does a lot of work in establishing lore and characterization, and has some solid and memorable moments.

Stormblood is unfortunately the inverse. I really question a lot of its decisions. But I don't hate it, Doma is a great setting and it gave us Zeno.

Despite my grievances about Krile, I quite enjoyed Dawntrail and found it solid! Good emotional beats where it counted, great world design (mostly), and I love Wuk Lamat ❤️

Endwalker is the one that got me to cry. My dearest favorite. 💖 Shadowbringers is close to perfect fiction, but didn't quite touch my heart in the same way. What else is there to say about them, really? They're the Big Ones.
