Finished fallout season 2.
Overall, I really enjoyed it. While this season had a lot of set up for future seasons, I did like the story it told and how our characters grew. I was a bit surprised how they used Chekov’s rad roach.
I’m excited to see what season 3 will give us.

Maybe this is a hot take but I liked the portrayal of Caesar’s Legion in the Fallout tv show.
My memory of the legion from New Vegas is Caesar was the main reason the legion was as successful as it was and for him to die without naming an heir would plunge his forces into chaos.

The most unrealistic thing about Fallout Season 2 is anyone willingly going to Bakersfield.

I still laugh at how silly Gundam Seed Freedom is. There’s so much wrong with the film but I’d be lying if the final 40 minutes weren’t some of the most entertaining parts of the Cosmic Era timeline.

Today’s the first day in about a month I feel like writing or have anything resembling a creative spark. (My burnout has been bad) It’s not going to be much but I’m glad I can at least get a few hundred words down before breaking for lunch.

Well, I somehow survived 2025. Man that was a rough year.
Here’s to 2026 being a better year for all of us.

My (un)healthy obsession with this evil fictional woman continues to grow ever stronger.

Some days I will be minding my own business working on something and my brain will yeet the word ‘fujoshi’ at me.

Honestly brain, why do you do that? What am I supposed to do with this information?

My brain: not my problem and my job is done!

Day: 5
While people can still get colds and the flu, there are a few ailments unique to my world.
One of the more dangerous infections is from a parasitic fungus. Once its spores take root, it spreads and attempts to take over its host’s central nervous system.
Good day, #DecemberWorldbuilders. Does your fictional world have any notable or unique diseases, medicine, or vaccination processes? What is healthcare like in your setting? Have your characters had to deal with a disease?

I’m in the chills phase of being sick. Hopefully I can shake this illness quick.

Well, two of my friends are sick with some kinda bug. Given how low energy I’ve been the past few days, I’m thinking I’ve caught it and am fighting it off.

Today's unhinged idea has manifested as Don Bologna, the meanest, and shortest, mobster who runs the desert city of Deli with an iron fist.
Really he's a decent guy, just don't owe him money. You may not live long enough to regret it.

Most of the stories I have set in Sylvius take place in the equivalent of the 1920s. There are cars, tractors, indoor plumbing, airships, etc.
Many of the worlds modern conveniences have been made possible from adventurers going into ruins and finding lost technology.

#DecemberWorldbuilders! What is the "level" of technology in your fictional world? Is it a low-tech fantasy? A high-tech sci-fi? Or something in-between? Maybe something outside the tech progression of human history. Did they invent anything ahead of us in time? Any inventions suspiciously absent?

You know what, AI can never beat a human writer because AI isn't unhinged enough. Could AI write a dramatic thumb wrestling scene between a deadbeat gambler and a space accountant? I highly doubt it.

I did not expect to write a dramatic thumb wrestling scene today but here we are.
