went to a show tonight and even had a few drinks and now it is time to see how much of my youthful zeal I have retained for the gig I am playing tomorrow

if you are in or near tacoma, WA (usa), it's a benefit show and it's a matinee

traded a overdrive pedal I didn't need for this

although I am not the biggest fan of the 6505 sound, it was just too good a deal to ignore (listed for $30)

at least now I can use this instead of plugins

I love all of mine (except for the Waza, which I sold)

it's just a nasty bitch, especially in front of a driven amp

I do the chainsaw thing, but until it stops sounding good for dbeat, I ain't gonna stop

Hey, my friend @drunkalcoholiccat.bsky.social is moving and cannot afford to take her cat with her due to overall expense. She only needs $300 and anything helps.

guitar board.

favorite pedal is the Proco Rat (not pictured) but my fave on this board is the HM2, so long as I have a distorted amp to slam it into
November 3, 2025 at 12:11 AM
similar vibe but I don't do compression, unless it's distortion
November 3, 2025 at 12:07 AM
guitar/bass

I keep it pretty simple by internet standards

guitar board into a dirty ass JCM800 full stack (2 4x12s)
bass board into a master/slave rig of two Peavey MKIII's each with a 2x15 cab

I WILL be heard
October 21, 2025 at 2:34 PM
ain't horrible and it ain't great but it only cost $20
October 9, 2025 at 1:35 AM
same vibes but everyone in the neighborhood gets to suffer
September 30, 2025 at 9:35 PM
pedalboard is pretty straight forward

Pitchblack tuner>
Boss ODB3 for the plastic grind>
Caline Wine Cellar for the clank>
Tone City Tape Machine to get noisy>
Sonicake IR for sound engineers that refuse to mic a bass cab [loser mindset]
and a passive Y splitter to allow for amp sound unimpeded
September 23, 2025 at 9:29 PM
Bass is a 2001 Squier Affinity P Bass

Bridge, pickguard and electronics have been replaced (electronics several times to no noticeable change)

The bridge was such a waste of money.

this is my main bass rig

1980 Peavey MKIII [master]>1980's 2x15 (not sure on year)>
1978 Peavey MKIII [slave]>1970's 2x15 (not sure on year)

If it is just those 4 pedals a 1 Spot will handle it silently just fine and save you some mullah

I mean, I ran this monstrosity on a 1 Spot with no noise issues>

decided to rebuild my pedalboard (it never ends)

just the essentials this time

boss supremacy
September 14, 2025 at 1:38 AM
decided to try my hand at modding my "Plexi" by adding a PRE phase inverter master volume

the amp came preloaded with a post PIMV but it added some uggo fuzz to the signal

referenced a youtube video that came out recently that had a great suggestion, this MV acts like a volume pedal in the fx loop

when you know your shit take is a shit take so you disable quote posting and comments

pro tip: just use a drum machine and your imagination you fucking loser

IDC that he says that the AI was used only to gauge his ideas and that a real drummer is the way to go, refer to previous point

after wanting one for about 20 years, i finally got my first telecaster.

traded an amp i didn't need for it. it's from 84-87 (serial numbers for Squiers weren't well tracked then). tone pot suggests 84.

it's beat to piss in the best kind of way.

this Thursday in Tacoma.

all ages. my band HOLZ goes on at 730.
May 27, 2025 at 6:59 PM
get a Peavey TNT 115 ($150ish usually), some versions even have chorus built into them, otherwise just get any Boss chorus, cheap and plentiful

$300 or less in cost and you will be able to blow the walls off any venue.

orrrrrrrr, become the be all/end all of thicc and piss off FOH for eternity>
May 17, 2025 at 10:09 PM
still playing it to this day.
May 17, 2025 at 2:01 PM
one step closer to (nearly) total Boss supremacy on my pedalboard
