Meh. I actually thought the sweetest part of the whole story was that in the end he stayed by her side even though his own kids wanted him to ditch her. He loved enough for both of them.

I thought it was ok. It didn’t redefine romance and I certainly didn’t swoon.

I did wonder a few times why he even liked her but I guess the script insisted.

It is also MY favorite holiday, as well. Don't get me wrong, Xmas is awesome because you know my love of presents, but Thanksgiving is the best. One of my favorite quotes hangs in my kitchen:

I'm so envious. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. I WISH my birthday was on Thanksgiving because then I would get PRESENTS and turkey and football and everyone would be obligated to attend. It's perfect!!
