In 2016 we bought a 28 ac crop farm in southern Ontario; we needed something suitable for our horses & dogs. We quickly realized our two horses would never need all that space. So our little homestead evolved.
We now have ~50 layer hens, 12 Angora…

We’re building a 4-season greenhouse here in southern Ontario. Huge volumes of reclaimed insulation and tons of thermal mass will allow for tropical produce year round. Today was a big day, after 3 weeks of work, the concrete floor & walkways were poured.
Next week we start building the structure!
