I did it! First time seeing any iteration of the Dead live. The Sphere experience was mind-blowing. They didn’t play any of my favorite songs, but that was fine. Some of the guitar wankery went on forever. Overall, fantastic!

Popped in to the Saturday opening of former Al’s Bar owner Mark Kreisel’s Musée du Al in Echo Park. Lots of great art, including pieces by Allen Ruppersberg and Joseph Beuys, and special appearances by Campbell from Sandy Duncan’s Eye and Al from Pop Defect.
