When I told them to give me a new policy number they said they couldn’t do that. They recommended that I get a new Medicare number. I told them I wasn’t doing that and that it looked like the billings were Medicare fraud.

For three years now, my UHC account has had charges that were not mine. In 2024 they totaled over $380,000. At one point I was told to ignore the payments because there was no payment required. Not one of the billings matched my name or birthdate.

Mon dieu! I make the Medicare insurer send me paper billing and reports. I've run a couple of companies. Had anyone in my employ ever generated such bullshit I would have been apoplectic. It is HOT MESS. I love the what was billed...what we paid reporting...

I don't know about genetic but I agree that deep down in we harbor the urges to hoard against leaner times. When I travel home to the U.S. I am shocked by the body phenotypes and the garbage...undeniable evidence that mass consumption has sickened our society.

I think it’s genetic, like getting fat. For millennia it was a great advantage to have stuff if you could get it, or to have some fat on you for the lean times. Now there’s too much stuff and too much food—and it’s plastic, including the food—and we’re programmed to hoard.

It's right up there with Invermectin, drinking bleach, and shining a bright light up your rectum. More people will die but after all, that is the hallmark of fascism.

We need a mindset change. The temptation is to "win" and get what we want for the lowest price. This often involves growers, artisans, employees on starvation pay. The endgame of this is slavery. When you can, buy local grown/made products, fairtrade, & use local retailers; it feels good to do this.

Or better yet...don't shop at all! We need to just top spending for a week or so. Show the retailers and corporate amerika where the power actually lies

Over a couple of centuries the U.S. spent gazillions of dollars creating a perception of value for our currency. Now in just the duration of one political regime, that perception is rapidly slipping away.
