It's the powerlessness that's so frustrating. No regulation or moral compass for big tech as they blindly press forward to get to more stability for their business models, at the expense of this generation's school education/sanity/trust in information/opportunity for distorting reality...

To be fair, most of the human written ones were slop as well. Finding genuine authorative sources for just about anything on the internet has become more and more frustrating and time consuming, although AI is kicking that phenomenon into hyper drive.

The feed quality does seem to be sliding as predicted. Is it too late to reclaim social media, or has it been lost forever to constantly refined algorithms driven by maximising engagement = revenue? At the expense of, you know levels of concentration, genuine happiness, relationships, childhood...
