Land use classification & modelling is an old & conventional use of artificial neural networks. Multilayer perceptron, feed forward, backpropagation, a classic ANN. ChatGPT is pretty much a classic ANN. Hard to improve on RS & land use with AI because the “new” methods have been used for decades..

Quite. I worked a little with ANN about 15 years ago it’s frustrating to see how fancy new AI is basically just rebranded ANN with all of its original glaring limitations (GIGO, black box, overfitting, local minima/maxima etc etc) presumably still there mostly unaddressed…..
