On Aug 29, 2007, Union Pacific rail workers lost control of a tanker car filled with chlorine at Arden, NV. The rail car sped about 20 miles through town at speeds up to 40 mph before the track started uphill. Amazingly, no damage and no spill. tinyurl.com/murs5fkw

While I don’t agree with Commissioner Trusty’s statement on CPB and Public Media Funding, particularly while looking through the rural radio lens, I appreciate that we’re finally being spoken to as intelligent beings, without the alienating buzz terms.
