On the web since 1996. I self-host photoprism, immich and audiobookshelf. I also try to write a blog post every day.
For years I have been getting spam from this address. It goes straight to spam but doesn't automatically block the sender. This is spam I have been getting for decades. I am sharing the address in the hope that someone will write a filter to demolish this spammer's reach.

At this point I have been getting this spam message every few days/weeks for years now. A different name, but the same message. These fucking bastards spam the same bullshit over and over. They're fucking lazy and I am fucking tired of this spam. You can tell it's bot spam, with no human interaction

Does anyone else think this is Escher season?

Step 1: you avoid reddit users.
Step 2: you dump the sack of shi+
Step 3: you stop reading tabloid rubbish.
Step 4: repeat.

That’s why we should dump all Facebook owned sites.

Could you cope with such a landscape?

Thank duck we have pavements. Where would people park without them?

The problem is not intellectual. The problem is indoctrination and manipulation. The problem is the manufacturing of consent. People are groomed to think one way rather than another. FB, Brexit and Drumpf are results of groooming. That's why Social Media is so dangerous for all ages.

In reality it makes it easier to park on the pavement. This is superficial, and so slow. It shouldn’t take years. It should take weeks. In summer the bike lane along the lake is unusable because of parked cars and their walking passengers. Reduce the need for cars in the first place.

What should be highlighted is that this is a Tory strategy to spread disinformation. They used it for Brexit and more. If I was to argue anything it is that the Tory Party should leave the BBC alone, and let it correct to being more neutral than it has been. This is a Murdoch media style manip.

Why does it have to be with 132 partners. I would agree if it was one to five partners, but not 132.

I can accept, and block them with pihole anyway. ;-)

Good government is invisible. This is not good government. This is not invisible.

Hey Jay, same tree leaves and autumn scenes here in Switzerland. Photo from my walk in the rain yesterday.

It's cheaper to fly to the US than Spain, but if I fly to the US I will be detained for supporting Human Rights.

I hope Facebook glasses are never allowed in Europe. Can you imagine how dangerous it would be for democracy, if Facebook and Co have our conversations and what we see and read?

Why the duck does Facebook, owner of whatsapp, not block these groups from being created. How can they tolerate such spammer groups?
October 21, 2025 at 8:22 AM
US-EAST-1 is down so Strava is down. Why the duck is Amazon AWS such an unreliable service? They have downtime so often that you could avoid a fire alarm going off at 3am if you replace fire alarm batteries as often as AWS has downtime.

The copyright holder request, on the right, and the YouTube response on the left. The untrained interns/AI model don't realise that the hyperlink is for a DRM free music site. I already sent feedback to YouTube about this. I would violate the creative commons license if I did not cut and paste that.

Interesting that they would remove it now.

Imagine, you're google. You have indexed the World Wide Web for decades. You see breakingcopyright.com and yet your algorithms, and search engine website database don't realise that this is a DRM free music site, rather than a piracy website. This makes Google look pretty amateurish.

That's very easy to do. How is this news?
September 21, 2025 at 7:23 AM
I blocked someone, because in the age of flaming people who don't agree with you, that came about during the first lockdowns of 2019, I'd rather stop the lynch mob before they start their attack.
